Welcome to Team #30!

Welcome to my all-new racing website and thank you very much for joining us here on Team #30!

For those of you who do not know me already, my name is Jordan McGregor and I am the driver of the #30 pavement late model at Hickory Motor Speedway. I am a bit older than some of my competitors in the field, but I also bring a lot of experience (in and out of racing) to the table. As a young man I raced super late models on the west coast and dirt cars in the southwest. Eventually, I made the leap to the Carolinas chasing my dream of becoming a NASCAR driver. I was fortunate enough to get pretty far in that process, but in the end it did not completely work out.

At that point I thought I was done with racing. I had all but given up. Instead of racing I decided to follow a more traditional path. I met a girl and got a job. Together we started a family and I built a career in the trucking industry. Years down the road I still haven’t lost the itch to go racing and I have decided to come back to it at my local proving grounds: Hickory Motor Speedway.

After a turbulent season in 2022 closing with a pretty gnarly crash, I’ve rebuilt the #30 machine from the ground up (the first car I’ve completely rebuilt myself) and I am ready to go racing in 2023!
